2009 Polar Express

Nothing would be complete if we didn't make our annual trip to the Polar Express. We packed our things and headed to the colder weather in Flagstaff to board our train. The kids had such a good time and this year we got to enjoy it with our cousins. This definitely has become one of our traditions. If you have thought about taking your kids.....do it!!

There was a ton of snow. So much fun

4th of July

I love the 4th of July! Every year since I was a wee babe we have always gone up north, to Pinetop, and enjoyed the 4th up there. We always do the Showlow parade and Taylor Rodeo. This year was no different. My girls love going to Papa's Cabin to fish and catch bugs. I swear they think that nothing is better than that. My whole family was able to come and we had a great time being together (but glad to be home :). We went on a picnic, ate out, fished, saw Ice Age, and to top it all off we...... went to Walmart! Oh ya.

Brinnley actually fell asleep at the Rodeo

Cameron was not happy to be surrounded by people

Beach time

This past week our little family headed to San Clemente to enjoy the beautiful weather and the beautiful beach. It was a quick trip but well worth it. The girls enjoyed every single little thing and hated to leave. Uncle James is working in L.A and made time to come and hang with us. We miss you James!

Cameron passed out on the way home. Cute little girl.

That's attractive!! He's single ladies.

Ashlynn wants to live there and be a lifeguard when she grows up.

Goldfish and Hand soap

Where do I begin..... I have this daughter who is very opinionated, sassy, independent and so forth. For those of you who know all my children it won't be a question on who I am talking about. I have this great quote in my house that says " Lord, grant me the patience to endure my blessings." I read that quote at least 20 times a day. I'm not exaggerating. My dear, sweet Brinnley.....Oh how do I begin. Awhile ago we got 5 fish and as time went on they all died except 1. This fish was an ugly brown fish and slowly he turned colors, into this really pretty fish. Well, as I was in the girls room, I should have checked on brinn because she had squirted hand soap into the fish tank. He probably suffered for 5-10min before I had noticed and tried everything (except cpr) to help my poor fish. After scolding brinn for killing my fish we happily took him to the toilet and flushed him down. Thank you brinn for pulling the handle. The up side to having the fish gone is now I don't have to worry about someone feeding him while we're gone on vacation :) So just an FYI, goldfish and hand soap don't mix well.

Girls, Gossip, Gas, Gallore......

This past weekend I took a girls trip with my best friends from High school, minus a few who live out of state. We headed to my parents cabin (thanks mom) ate Mexican food, junk food and anything gas-x. We said up all night trying not to scare ourselves and finally going to bed at 3:00 and then waking up at 7:30am. That darn AZ sun! We had fun talking about old times and telling funny stories. My abs have not hurt like that in a long time. I love to laugh with my girls. After all that we hit some boutiques and head on down the hill. Thanks girls for the wonderful memory and I can't wait till next year.
