Girls Trip 2007

Last year this time some of my friends and I took a rode trip to my parents cabin for the weekend. It was such a fun time! We literally stayed up talking, laughing, and eating till 3 or 4am. Then got up at like 7 or 8 and headed off to go shopping at the boutiques. I love my girlfriends and am so happy that we've stayed friends for so long. I have so many memories with them and I'll always remember the fun times we've had.

Bye-Bye Birdy

Just to update you on the little bird. We woke up the next day and noticed that the little bird was nowhere to be seen. I looked everywhere for it and have come to the conclusion that a cat took off with it. When Ashlynn asked to see it I told her it "Flew Away." Of course that answer wasn't good enough and then I had to thoroughly explain that birds get bigger and have to fly away to another "Home." But reassured her that he was very happy now.

Update for Jason

Since Jason's out of the country right now I told him he needed to check the blog for what's going on at home. Here's what happened today, so far. Girls got up before 7:00am (i really hate that) and got them ready for the day. Ashlynn had a good day at preschool (thanks ms. Leah). Two baby birds fell out of the tree, one died(yuck) and the other is just hanging out. My girls are so concerned about it. I was about an inch away from turning into Dr. Doolittle and rescuing that stupid little bird but came to my senses. Thank goodness. I really didn't want to take care of a baby bird. This is what dad's are good for. They take care of stuff like this. Anytime a cat comes near all the birds freak out and fly in for the kill. I literally feel like I'm living the Birds movie. All those birds are just sitting in the trees waiting to attack anyone who comes near this baby bird. No joke, as I took this picture "Momma Bird" flew right by my head!!!! I high tailed it out of there and told my kids to fend for themselves. We'll see how this story will end. Hopefully the thing will just fly away. The whole bird thing has taken up my whole day. This is a nice summary on how my day has went. Oh and Jason,, the ferret died. No joke.

Baby Bumbo

Today we went to Target and bought a bumbo for Cameron. This is such a fun little chair, I just love it. I always feel so bad having to put her in her bouncer and she gets so bored of it. These are just really cute pictures and I had to post them. Plus, Jason's in Dominican Republic for work stuff and this is our way of communicating. Why he doesn't by a phone card, who knows?!
